About Dr. Tewari

I have undergraduate and graduate degrees from India in veterinary sciences and animal nutrition respectively. I completed the requirements to practice veterinary medicine in United States in 2006. I started practicing conventional veterinary medicine in Midwest while also volunteering in animal shelters. I worked in Hawaii for about one year, where I got a chance to work with renowned holistic veterinarian Dr. Ihor Basko. During my stay in Hawaii, I experienced that there could be other natural ways or sometimes more effective ways to treat pets than conventional methods. Earlier I was skeptical for homeopathy like many other people but few incidents in my personal life forced me to know and learn more about it. I received my certification in veterinary homeopathy from the Pitcairn Institute of Veterinary Homeopathy (PIVH) in 2017. I consider myself very lucky to learn concepts of veterinary homeopathy from Dr. Richard Pitcairn who is a well-known authority in this field.

My love for homeopathy grew stronger as I started to learn more and more with time. I am not against allopathic medicine and believe it has its own value in specific situations but majority of health problems of our pets can be cured naturally by relying on their innate immune system response.
